Packaged by hand in natural goose down. Natural feathers and down are washed and sterilized according to law * and with the most advanced technologies.
The exclusive use of pure cotton fabric ensures a perfect containment of the padding.
Entirely made in Italy, is designed to offer a healthy and enveloping warmth, while remaining soft and light.
Warm and light
A combination possible thanks to the quality and correct density of the padding, composed of 90% goose down and 10% feathers (Weight: 175 gr / sqm).
Moreover, with an average thermal capacity, it is ideal for children - typically "hot" - and for the environment of today's houses, usually well heated and with a good level of thermal insulation.
As a result, the babies are wrapped without being compressed, they sleep warm but do not sweat, the skin perspires and the body temperature regulates itself.
The children thus benefit from an extremely pleasant sleeping environment, ensuring a quality rest.
The feathers do not move and do not escape
Thanks to fixed square quilting, the feathers of the padding do not move, guaranteeing homogeneous heat over the entire surface of the duvet, avoiding unpleasant piling up and the creation of "cold areas".
Furthermore, thanks to the very dense cotton of the lining and the double hem along the entire perimeter of the garment, the feathers do not come out and the duvet will always remain full and well padded, like a soft and fluffy cloud.
Benefits of natural goose down:
- Thermally insulates e keeps the body temperature constant. It has a very high heat coefficient, almost double that of wool.
- Hygroscopic: the feather allows the natural perspiration of the body during sleep. It absorbs moisture and lets it evaporate slowly, ensuring an ideal microclimate for the body.
- Elastic: the feather can withstand a pressure equal to 80 thousand times its weight and return perfectly to the same as before.
- Fluffy: down is extremely light and voluminous and therefore warms without compressing.

Care, washing and maintenance:
By following the instructions below, the properties of your Babylodge per Salina duvet will remain unchanged over time.
First use: For packaging and shipping needs we had to compress the product. To ensure that the feathers regain their natural elasticity, shake it gently and let it breathe until it becomes soft and voluminous.
Ordinary maintenance: Periodically expose the duvet to air.
Washing: Machine wash on delicate cycle, lukewarm water and neutral detergent. Do not dry clean.
Leave to dry in the shade, shaking often while drying.
Do not use carpet beater or vacuum cleaner
When the season changes, store the garment perfectly dry
Failure to comply with the washing rules will result in the forfeiture of the product guarantee.

Each garment is packaged in a protective bag, accompanied by the guarantee certificate and detailed care, washing and maintenance instructions.
100% Italian product, safe and certified
Each single garment is handmade, with particular reference to the cutting, sewing, flapping (to evenly distribute the feathers) and quilting phases.
* To guarantee the seriousness and quality of the product, the duvet is made according to the provisions of the law in force for feathers and duvets, which require washing, sterilization and dedusting of feathers at well-defined temperatures and times (Presidential Decree 845 of 23/01/75 and DM 315 of 10/11/76).
Also completed by the NOACAR® sticker (a special anti-mite treatment) and the OEKOTEX Standard® 100 certificate, which certifies that the cotton fabric used for the upholstery does not contain harmful substances and is therefore safe for people and the environment.
