Babylodge CUBOTTO Multi-function Montessori chair

Inspired by the Montessori chair concept, baby lodge^® CUBE it's a special one multi-function cube designed to help children move and manage themselves independently from an early age. Designed for children, it promotes confidence in one's own abilities: with ad hoc calibrated dimensions and dimensions, children can handle it without having to ask for help from an adult, pushing it, rotating it or overturning it according to the need of the moment.

In addition, thanks to the superior quality of materials and design specifications, Babylodge^® CUBOTTO guarantees lift and resistance far beyond the standards of children, configuring itself as a useful, practical and beautiful object for the whole family, destined to last over time.

CUBOTTO finds its ideal complement in CUBE TABLE, the children's table with a perfectly integrated design and able to conceal one or two CUBOTTO chairs.

One product, many uses:

CUBE it combines harmoniously with the whole range of products Babylodge®, to which it refers both in the materials and in the geometric relationship of sections and volumes.

It can be used in three positions and acquit different functions, according to the age and motor skills of the child:

Fig.1) With the low seating surface, it is the booster seat ideal for i first steps e up to two years of age approx.

Fig.2) With the medium-height seat top, it is one chair perfect for children of 3-4 years.

Fig.3) With the higher seat surface, it is a practical one stool for children from 5 years (and adults!).

In this position it can also be used as: table, ideal next to one or more cubes in the function of child seats; bedside table, perfect to combine with Babylodge beds^® to place a small light, a book or a soft toy on it; platform or riser, useful for reaching "high floors" such as the sink or the table.

How it's done:

CUBOTTO is made entirely by hand, in Italy, by the master craftsmen of Babylodge^®.

All the wood used is natural beech PEFC ™ certified, to guarantee the quality and safe origin of raw materials (no China, no Eastern Europe). Babylodge^® uses only first choice beech, coming from the state-owned forests of Germany under controlled and sustainable management.

In detail, to make CUBOTTO the following are used:

• for the structure, 100% natural solid beech;
• for the platforms, a special patented micro-laminate of beech, ultra-resistant and unique in its kind.

To eliminate sharp edges, all profiles and corners are beveled by hand and checked one by one. Furthermore, to enhance the completely natural raw material, CUBOTTO does not have any additional paint or enamel: only beech wood in its pure state.

Design:

CUBOTTO is designed to combine harmoniously with Babylodge beds^®, to which it refers both in the materials (100% natural solid beech) both in the proportions geometric sections and volumes.

All joints are prepared by our carpenters so that:

• there are no visible fixings and the structure is clean and linear from any angle;
• no assembly is required. baby lodge^® CUBOTTO is delivered ready to use.

Being a cube with a side of 32 cm, CUBOTTO has a small footprint and fits everywhere: going beyond the concept of the Montessori chair, it becomes an object for all ages, loved by children but also by adults.
